Vote A Doctor
"Vote-A-Doctor" Political Movement
International Advocacy Desk
"Vote-A-Doctor" is a political and advocacy space to demand for the rights of our Hispanic doctors to have more access to training, jobs and respect in this general health crisis in USA. "Vote-A-Doctor" is a strong voice in the political arena to bring more laws in to place to help our Latinos and Latinas medical doctors to study and get decent jobs in New York State and all USA according to our level of expertise. We will open up opportunities for our immigrants doctors who have family and work in underpaid jobs outside their capacity. We want more opportunity for our members to enter into training and residency in hospitals and medical centers of USA that are in the middle of unprecedented health crisis which are in need of Hispanic doctors in our Latinos communities.
Our goal is to bring a minimum of 1000 Hispanic doctors to vote in New York City in the November 2008 Presidential Election and to help to pass in to law the "Universal Health Insurance" proposal that will benefit more than 17 millions of uninsured Hispanic Immigrants residing in the USA.
